The exhibition of large-scale oil paintings and delicate glass assemblages is the result of the work of two artists. Petra and Petr Hampl are connected not only by art and restoration, but also as life partners.

The radiant ruby tones of the flowers created with Petr Hampl’s brush are complemented by transparent glass shaped by fire and the visions of Petra Hamplová. In addition to inspiring and supporting one another in their independent artistic practice, they have for the past six years been restoring mural paintings at Zákupy Chateau, repeatedly experiencing the euphoria of uncovering and revealing stories that had long been forgotten.

Admission to the exhibition is included in the guided tour fee – both the basic and the extended tour options.
