Vojtěch was born in Nová Ves near Nové Město na Moravě. From an early age, he was drawn to sports, but football captivated him the most. His diligence took him to the professional level. He played in Jihlava, Čáslav, and Tábor. He eventually settled at Viktoria Žižkov, which became his destiny, and he still works there as a coach today.

Vojtěch Šandera's artistic journey was more intuitive than a deliberate search. He began his journey by creating furniture and opening his own workshop and studio. His artistic expression gradually began to manifest itself through sculptures and paintings.

His works are very specific, primarily in their use of a wide range of techniques. Materials such as metal, plastic, and plaster are media for him that allow free and unlimited expression.

However, emotions are the most important thing. Together with feelings, they play a primary role, providing him with a therapeutic experience during creation. At the same time, they are what make his works so unique. You can feel the emotions in each work, and they have an effect on you.

At the same time, emotions influence the creative process—sometimes a work arises as a sudden burst of inspiration, while other times it takes time for the finished work to see the light of day.

In the current direction of his art, he allows himself to be guided by various ideas and does not want to limit himself.

He likes to give new life or a second chance to used materials, and this chance is actually also for himself. Vojtěch Šandera's artistic work is an expression of his feelings, moods, and thoughts. It comes directly from his heart.

So ZeMĚ.
