When Klára Sedlo says that she mixes all her colors from three basic ones, she usually hears
“What, really?”. Now you have the opportunity to learn her magic. Instead of a wand, you will be given a paintbrush, and you can start “conjuring” together.

We will explain:
- color theory
- how color perception works
- why trees are not green and water is not blue

You will learn:
- how to work with three basic colors
- a practical system for mixing any color
- how to choose the “right” primary color
- how to mix different shades, including skin tones
- you will paint and take home a small picture

Program:
- Theory of color mixing
- Exercises in mixing individual color tones (different shades of gray, skin tones, beige, brown, green...)
- A very simple still life on which you can try out mixing in practice 

What to bring:
Painting supplies and canvases will be provided, but we recommend wearing work clothes or an apron (you will be working primarily with acrylics; if you would like to use oils, please let us know
