With the start of summer, the Minorite Friary in Prague  is launching a new experiential concept for lovers of history and mystery. The largest outdoor escape game in the Czech Republic was created specifically for this unique space and is inspired by the 800-year history of this place.

 

The successful outdoor escape game brand City Game Prague, in collaboration with the Minorite Monastery in Prague and the Helas Agency, presents a completely new experiential concept for lovers of history, mystery, and adventure: the largest escape game in the Czech Republic, The message of the Minorites.  This unique escape game was officially launched in the first half of June 2025 and takes participants into the very real environment of the monastery, where players will uncover ancient messages. In the more than 2,500 m² monastery, which is located right next to St. James' Basilica, participants will search for hidden clues and solve tricky tasks that touch on the real history of the last 800 years. And perhaps they will even discover the message left to us by one of the most important Franciscans of the Luxembourg era.

Explore Prague in a different way.

The unique game Message of the Minorites combines elements of outdoor and indoor escape games, geocaching, and historical research. Participants become members of a mysterious society that has been protecting the legacy of the Minorites for centuries. Their task will be to explore ancient gardens, Romanesque foundations, historic halls, and other nooks and crannies of the monastery, where they must decipher codes, uncover hidden symbols, and find the key to an ancient secret that is right before our eyes, but we are unable to see.
